Floral Arranging Class: A Book and Blooms Event

Come to the Book Nook to share an evening learning about floral arranging. You will learn the shapes and techniques to create a beautiful sustainably made centerpiece for your home. First you will listen to Kelly from GARsDEN FLOWERS talk about design and floral choice while she demos in front of the class. Then you will have the opportunity to pick out your own seasonal blooms and create a beautiful masterpiece to take home. All skill levels are invited and encouraged to sign up. Please note the picture above is not necessarily the varieties that will be on hand that evening, but know they will be beautiful, seasonal garden blooms. While in the shop, make sure to take advantage of 10% off books in stock that evening, maybe even a book about flowers! Also, show your ticket at South Street and Vine, and get 10% off your purchase for cheese or wine.

Book Nook: Blooms and Books Event

I will be outside near the Book Nook with a booth full of blooms. Please stop by and browse some books, and get some seasonal blooms. This pop up sales event will be an opportunity to check out two young female owned local businesses. Come ask questions to either of us, or inquire about setting up an event or ordering something for the future.

Bi-Weekly Wrapped Bouquets at Loaded Question Starting soon!

I am also a talented Beer-Tender and slings beer every other Thursday evening at Loaded Question Brewery. When the blooms start arriving in my micro-garden, I will start bringing them to the bar with me that evening to sell them. You can stay for a beer and play trivia, or you can just pop by the space and grab some fresh blooms.

When: upcoming 2nd and 4th Thursdays 5:30 pm- 9 pm (or until they sell out) Check it out starting about late May through October

Where: Loaded Question Brewery, 909 Islington St. Suite #12, Portsmouth, NH - look for the open flag near the ramp off of the parking lot.
